Muscle Activation Kosciusko
Owner: Karen Byrd
Karen has been a Muscle Activation Technique™ Specialist (MATs) since 2011. MAT™ has positively changed the way she trains her clients. As a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), she has worked with reactionary care of injuries on the athletic field and in the training room. MAT™ has expanded the way she views the muscular system and the overall neuromuscular system by focusing on the sources of imbalance and instability in the body versus just chasing pain or tightness. It is not just about gaining strength but rather it is about ensuring that our joints and muscles that control them function and feel at their best.
